2019 CAMA SYLLABUS

DESCRIPTION:

Each student scheduled for labs should have their station prepped and ready to go prior to model coming in. You will be required to do a full face on each model, including false lashes (unless model declines).

Cedar’s provides a wide array of products from primers to eyeshadows to

False lashes.

You will have access to these products whenever the studios are open for labs. To ensure we have the products we need always, we require a $10 service fee for all models (including current students and former graduates).

When your model comes in, we expect each student to treat them as a client. When you start booking jobs you will need to be comfortable requesting payment and valuing your work.

We expect professionalism always, even while you are waiting for your model. Multiple students may be doing labs at the same time and we want to represent professionalism at all times.

HELPFUL TIP:

Social media is a great way to develop clientele. Posting on your Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc... offering your makeup services can be very beneficial. You can also post on Facebook groups offering your services as well.
